Who Let the Dogs Out 5k

Fix West Texas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit will be hosting our annual 5k on April 15, 2023 at Midland College. Fix West Texas' goal is to decrease the amount of animals euthanized in the shelter by offering low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine services. By stopping the cycle of unwanted pregnancies, we decrease the amount of animals that end up in the shelter. We also have our Pets in Need program, where we offer "pay what you can afford" services for vaccines and dog/cat food so animals can stay with their owners instead of being surrendered to the shelter. We also have our cat adoption program and our recently launched "home-to-home" dog adoption program.

At our 5k, we will have snacks, water, and different vendor stations. When you but your ticket before March 13, you have an early-bird admission price. Participants will receive a t-shirt included in the price of the ticket. We encourage people to bring their dogs and come out and have a fun day!
