Event Description:
The Ice Cream Festival is back, bigger and better than ever! Celebrated in the heart of downtown Midland, this Festival promises a unique opportunity to experience two days of family fun, activities, food, water slides and the best ice cream in the region! Featuring loads of flavors from brands the community has come to love, the sampling is always free.
“Families have already started rallying around this unique event to happen in downtown Midland,” said MODE Communications marketing coordinator. “They love having something fun and affordable to do, especially in the summertime when kids are out of school. We’re so excited to bring this Festival back with new attractions and activities like the Cow-to-Cone experience where kids will get to learn how they get their ice cream from a live cow!”
New downtown restaurant Opal’s Table will be providing ice cream making demonstrations for the kids to learn what happens to the milk after it comes from the dairy farm. Other activities include an ice cream eating contest and Tiki Island Inflatables’ featured attraction: Blue Crush. Purchase of a ticket into the Festival grants everyone access to ride the tallest inflatable water slide in the world.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 20 at 11 am and can be purchased at doyourcity.us/icecream.
