Event Description:
Higher Orbits provides an out of this world opportunity for 8th-12th grade students to experience the wonders of space and STEM through our Go For Launch! programs. Go For Launch! allows students to work with and learn from an Astronaut who flew during NASA’s Space Shuttle program and create their own experiment that could potentially be launched into space. The winning experiment of every GFL! series will be created and launched to the International Space Station where astronauts will oversee the experiment in space. We have launched 13 student experiments into space since our first event in 2016! We are hosting Go For Launch! Midland Winter 2023 February 14-15 at Legacy High School
