PermiaCare will be having a Youth Mental Health First Aid training on May 26th. This is a great training for individuals who interact with adolescents, 12-18 years old, to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental illness or crisis. This training provides tools and resources to be able to provide initial help, intervene in a crisis, and connect with appropriate professional help. We also provide CPE for teachers. In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, trainings in May will be at no cost to the participants! We will be providing lunch to the participants.
