Solar Flares and Space Weather with Dr. Stephen Bradshaw 

Professor of Physics, Rice University

An additional lecture will be held at Midland College, Carrasco Room, Friday, November 10 at noon.

Dr. Bradshaw obtained a Master in Physics degree from Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK, and a Ph.D. in theoretical astrophysics from the University of Cambridge, UK. He undertook post-doctoral work and subsequently a research Fellowship at Imperial College London before joining the Solar Physics Laboratory at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a research astrophysicist. He has been on the physics and astronomy faculty at Rice University since July 2010.
