Event Description:
Volunteer Advocate Program Volunteer advocates are the heart of our agency. They help reduce trauma by providing emotional support to victims and their loved ones. Advocates supply information to help victims understand the sexual assault exam, police procedures, the legal process, and the benefits of therapy. Advocates can assist with our 24 hour hotline or volunteer for hospital accompaniment. Paws-4-Kids Therapy Dogs and their handlers are needed to help with the children's programs as well as at community events.
