Midland R/C Modelers Club Announces Flying event to Help local charity Midland, Michigan, August 7, 2024, - The Midland R/C Modelers Club, a local aero modeling club together with the Midland Fire Department Drone Team, are pleased to announce an airshow event held at our flying field in Midland County, 200 Patterson Rd. Midland, MI. This event will be held on September 8th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Along with a regular display club members’ planes, helicopters, and drones - the event will feature the Midland Fire Department displaying and demonstrating their rescue drones with a water rescue. For the whole family, the event will also feature a candy drop, air combat, WWII scale planes, and food concessions for all. Best of all, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Humane Society Of Midland. Please come and join us for a fulfilled day, and help people in your area at the same time! The Midland R/C Modelers club is a local, non-profit 501c(3) aero modeling organization founded in 1978 to promote educational and recreational benefits of the sport.
