ABOUT the SPEAKER

Adrian Carrasco is a Midland Chamber of Commerce Board Member, as well as a local small business owner. He was raised as one of ten children in a small West Texas town. The importance of education was instilled in Adrian and his family and all 10 family members went on to graduate from Midland College and receive 4-year degrees at various Universities.

After graduating from UTSA with a degree in Political Science, Adrian returned to Midland and went to work with Midland College as Recruitment Coordinator and Admissions Director, attaining record enrollment his first year.

After his time at Midland College, he followed his love for sales and marketing and was able to work in the pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, and Novo Nordisk.

During his career in pharmaceuticals, Adrian won various top salesman awards locally, regionally, and nationally. With the downturn in the healthcare industry, Adrian started JTC Construction that specializes in residential and commercial construction.

After four years, he diversified into the oil and gas industry and has been a business owner in this industry for over 10 years. Adrian's philosophy in business is to provide a one-stop-shop approach with services that will make it easy on the customer. He is known to say, "Long-lasting customer relationships create long-lasting business."

In the past five years, Adrian has owned Premier Energy Services, LLC, and in 2018 formed Gen 1 Electrical Services. He enjoys spending time with his family; is committed to his businesses, faith, and improving higher education opportunities for all; and enjoys volunteering and being involved in the community.
