Event Description:
Saturday, January 11th, join us for a FREE Community Art Day! Starting at 1pm we will have a film screening of the Academy Award nominated animated PG film, "The Secret of Kells". A young boy in a remote medieval outpost, under seige from barbarian raids, is beckoned to adventure when a celebrated master illuminator arrives with an ancient book. 2:15-4pm, enjoy bookmaking, calligraphy and printmaking activities throughout the Museum and tour the current exhibition Sacred Scripts: 1,000 Years of Religious Texts.
