The American Red Cross invites the public and local officials to an Open House Event and Welcome Reception for their new Disaster Program Manager, Jesus Castro.

Castro comes to the Permian Basin from the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico. He has worked with the American Red Cross of Puerto Rico for over three years. In that time, Hurricane Maria devastated the island. Jesus has worked tirelessly to help his family, his community, and the island recover from Hurricane Maria.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Jesus, hear about his experience with disaster recovery and talk about how the American Red Cross Serving the Permian Basin can help the local community prepare and respond to disasters big and small.
