Presented by Amanda Potter, Owner of Comfortable Benefits, LLC with Aflac
ABOUT AMANDA:
After 15 years with Aflac's management team, Amanda stepped away to pursue her heart's joy with connecting people and providing insurance education. Her main focus is no longer just in the supplemental arena, but she can provide a network and wealth of insurance details.
She recognized that people typically have multiple insurance agents and insurance carriers making things confusing and even outdated or incomplete coverage. Insurance is much more than a price point.
She started her insurance career in 2005 in Lubbock, Texas, while she also owned and operated three Cold Stone Creameries. She quickly realized the opportunity with Aflac and took a management district position in Austin, Texas. In 2010, she and the family moved to Midland, Texas where she grew her Aflac Region into a $5.4M sales organization, more than doubling the region's assets in her tenure. She then received her P&C license as well, to better understand insurance information on all fronts.
Having obtained her marketing degree at UT Austin in three years and being the youngest at the time to receive an MBA from SWT, she believes knowledge is important. Applying her CLF designation and leadership training is where she feels she can set herself apart and give back to the community in business education.
As a mother to three boys, a wife, an entrepreneur, and an owner of multiple properties, life can get complicated quickly. Keeping things simple is important. She wants to help others be able to do this in their world too and with the confidence that they are working with high-level and experienced agents.
Bringing people together is her passion. Probably why she also sits on the multiple boards for organizations that are faith-based and family-oriented. Her love for God and others is what fills her heart. And when her heart is full, she knows she can move mountains of opportunity!
